Try pressing enter after typing the abbreviation instead of clicking the "OK" button. This seems to work for me every time.

Hi, I just installed Clips and I'm afraid I have the same problem... There is no way Clips will record any abbreviation... Restarted the app a couple of times but nothing changes.

Many thanks, TFS

Heoo Mugs,

Does restarting Clips let you setup new abbreviations?

I can't seem to get any abbreviations to stick. As soon as I add them, they disappear. They don't work and they don't appear in the abbreviations smart list.

Also, It would be nice to see and edit this abbreviations when you click in the small "i" and the clip flips over to show you its information.
