There was no solution posted and things remained like that for a few months. Last night I found a solution for my specific situation, and thought I would post it in case others have similar issues. This fix has solved 100% problems, and I can now use Linkinus, and I am very happy, because Linkinus is a fucking awesome IRC client, and now it works. Thankyou.</p>
