FWIW i don't consider this resolved.
I appreciate that there must have been technical reasons you decided to go with this log format instead of plain text (presumably to keep the same look and feel of the chat window in the log viewer), but i really think it's a mistake to not have at least a sort of convenient method of outputting to plain text. 2.0.1's export feature just does not do it for me — i can't be bothered to manually sort and export logs one session at a time so i can interact with them all from the command line (or from a bot or whatever else it may be).
For this to be 'resolved' in my mind the export feature would, at a minimum, need the ability to export all logs at once, into directories organised by network, and further organised by date (either in the file names or through directories like Linkinus 1.x). This could be automatic like 1.x or even just semi-automatic (i.e., you have to click a button in the log viewer like you do now, but the button gives you the ability to do everything at once instead of prompting you to save each and every session one by one). Maybe it would even be possible to just sort of graft the 1.x feature back on to what you have now (i.e., keep the SQLite database and the current export functionality but also allow users the option to make concurrent redundant plain-text copies)?
I know making Linkinus just like other IRC clients has never been big on your list of things to do, so i guess i understand if you don't feel this is an important feature for your target audience. But i personally don't think i'll ever be able to call it my own unless it's implemented. :/
