    I see Ability to turn off Join/part messages was added in rev 1.2

    how do i get to this setting?

    I don't see this setting at all in rev 2.x. Is this functionality present? This is basic to any IRC client I've ever used and now I'm missing it. Anyone else have instructions on how to hide join/part and nick change messages?

    mind you this is per network..

    create a new filter (filters are cmd 5) by dragging any nickname into the filter list, edit the match mask to read *!*@* and check everything but join / part / quit.

    I think I found a better way :) Type this into your console:

    defaults write com.conceitedsoftware.Linkinus ignoreJoinPart 1
