Linkinus flooding console log with UNHANDLED FUNCTION & using lots of CPU Started 10 months ago by Einkoro

While idling on one network and one channel (irc.system09.org/#riovolution) Linkinus will flood the console.log with: Linkinus Agent[8135] [UNHANDLED FUNCTION] (null) ...
Trimmed since its mostly gibberish ASCII characters but here is a full example log.

Possibly related: the Linkinus process will randomly start spinning and using about 50% CPU tops. It remains completely responsive most of the time when this happens but it will cause the fans on my MBP to ramp up and the CPU hits 100C! That is not a typo, it is Celsius. To put it mildly it is somewhat concerning since I leave the system on 24/7 idling, frequently with the lid closed and I may not even be home all day when it happens. This does not seem to coincide with the time-stamps of the errors in the log.

OS X 10.4.11 with the latest updates.

OS X 10.4 might actually be part of the problem's reason I'd say. For all I know / experienced Linkinus never was that closely befriended with Tiger.

I haven't been able to reproduce this problem. If you have any hints as to how to replicate it, please let us know.

FYI, upcoming versions will focus on 10.5 and 10.6 but no longer support 10.4.

CPU consumption is much improved in Linkinus 2.0. Considering this a fixed issue.
