On the old forum, there was a large discussion about Linkinus constantly disconnecting for some users. There was no solution posted and things remained like that for a few months. Last night I found a solution for my specific situation, and thought I would post it in case others have similar issues. It turns out my modem, a Billion 7300GA has a hidden settings page for very advanced settings that you would normally never have to change. http://img339.imageshack.us/my.php?image=linkinussolutionnt8.jpg (was set to 120) It's accessed by going to http://192.168.1.254/ic.asp Other routers might have similar settings. This fix has solved 100% problems, and I can now use Linkinus, and I am very happy, because Linkinus is a fucking awesome IRC client, and now it works. Thankyou.
