Linkinus 2.0.2 repeatedly loses track of people's modes in the channels for me. For example, in a channel where i have ops but almost never actually op myself, Linkinus shows me as opped almost all the time. When i ask another user to tell me if i'm opped, they always say no.
Just now i had this same problem with a voiced user. Here's me using ChanServ to devoice somebody:
14:39:46 ChanServ has changed the channel mode to: -v anonUser
A few lines later, here's that same person talking, with the log showing that he is unvoiced:
14:42:26 <anonUser> Hi ohkine; you are my favourite person here
A few lines later, here is talking again... and suddenly appearing to be voiced:
14:43:39 <+anonUser> No she reminds me of my mom, when she showed up all the fun ended
(He also shows as voiced in the user list — i'm not sure if that updated and then changed back like the log, or if it was stuck on + the whole time, i wasn't looking.)
At no point in between these lines was there any change in this user's mode on the channel, Linkinus just magically thinks he's voiced again for no reason at all. I asked several other users in the channel to confirm whether he is voiced, and they all said no. However, every single line he spoke after that showed him as having voice. It wouldn't update until i /hopped.
This is a channel with about 90 users, maybe 15 or 20 active at a time, 5000 to 9000 lines a day, which i think places it squarely on the lower end of 'middle-sized'. The network is Freenode.
I don't recall this ever happening with 2.0 or 2.0.1, but i'm not sure, maybe i just didn't notice.
